The Power To Overcome Through The Balanced Word Of God!

Filling the Void

Is this word for you? If it is, then take it and make any changes that need to be made on your part.

“In prayer this morning, I kept see a crowd of people who were wandering around. They were searching as if they were trying to find some specific thing. I asked the Lord, ‘Who are these people; what are they doing wandering around; and what are they searching for?’ He responded, ‘Susan, these are My people who have been deficient within for a long time and I am birthing a strong spiritual hunger within them for Me and My presence. They have wandered from place to place trying to find what would bring a satisfaction to them. They have traveled from church service to church service and left feeling empty. Many have wandered into places that they should not even allowed themselves to go, searching for the very thing to fill the void within. They have known something was missing within them, yet many could not quite understand that it was My presence they were needing. I created them to know Me and My Love in depth through relationship and fellowship. I desire deep intimacy with them. I created them for intimacy with Me. Nothing else will bring fulfillment to them besides this. The deep within them has groaned for this, because without it they are left deficient. They are left unsatisfied, unfulfilled, and empty within. Yet, I AM birthing a new hunger and thirst for Me that will fill the void places of their lives. I AM putting desires within these to know Me and experience My presence on a daily basis.”

I want to ask you: Have you found yourself lately craving something within, but no matter what you tried it just did not take care of the craving you were experiencing? You might have even made several trips to the refrigerator or maybe to the cabinets seeking out something that would satisfy that hunger within you. Is that you? Do you know what is going on? When this happens, many times we think it is a natural food we are needing, and it is not that at all. It is a need for the deep inner most part of you to be fed. It is called your “spirit man” or the “inward man”. Trying to feed this with natural things just will not satisfy. When the part of you is crying out to be fed, it takes things from the Spirit to bring fulfillment. There are a lot of people who are trying to fill a spiritual hunger and thirst with a physical habit! It does not work! It will not satisfy your inward parts that are craving 1) fresh bread (Jesus the Bread of Life) and 2) fresh drink (Jesus the Fountain of Living Water). You must spend time in fellowship and communion, soaking in the presence of the Lord; reading and studying the scriptures, etc. You must daily feed your spirit man or it will be deficient. What does it mean to be in a state of deficiency? It means “To be in a condition of being inadequate in quality or supply; insufficient; lacking some essential; incomplete; defective.” I want to encourage you to take the necessary action to build up your relationship with the Lord. Take time to get to know Him personally. You will find His presence to be intoxicating! Saturate yourself in His presence. Be filled with the Spirit. Be a God-Catcher! Captivate His heart and allow Him to captivate yours!

Matthew 5:6 (KJV) “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” (Message) “You’re blessed when you’ve worked up a good appetite for God. He’s food and drink in the best meal you’ll ever eat.”

John 6:35 “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to Me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on Me shall never thirst.”

Psalms 34:8 (Message) “Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes and see-how good God is. Blessed are you who run to Him.”
